“ I love a good neighborhood pub. In town for work and looking for somewhere open Sunday day after 8 is not an easy task. We found Kensington. Loved the ambiance, there are two separate areas, we sat at the bar. Bartender was friendly, served us quickly with perfectly made drinks, amaretto sour for me & cider for my friend. When we were ready to order, he gave us a few tips on things that were not on the menu that we could still order, I.e. Caesar salad, which I ordered, my friend went with a burger. We both enjoyed our choices. The dressing was creamy and just coated the romaine. The burger smelled delicious and was thick & juicy. It still smelled good 3 days later when she reheated her leftovers! The bartender may have been the owner, he was entertaining without being bothersome. Great neighborhood place with a Cheers type of vibe! ”
“ I came here for the first time at 1 in the morning with my friend after a couple drinks, and in search of some late night eats. My friend said it would be the best Reuben sandwich in Cleveland and it surpassed that- it was the best Reuben I've had in my life. Not only that, she mentioned that it was the owner who was pouring our beers, bringing our food, and when we asked for a box he just packed it up AND stuck it in a bag for us. I've lived in Cleveland all my life and just wish I knew about this spot sooner. I'll be taking my friends for some more drunk Reubens, and as a local bartender myself, recommending it to my own patrons on their travels. It's rare I get a Friday night off, and I'm glad I stumbled into this place. 10/10. ”
“ Only due to how incredible the eats are in this joint, do I find it unjust I cannot assign a sixth star for them. Their corn beef alone is unrivaled and I truly believe their Au Pau Burger could be the best burger I have ever eaten in my life. Talking about it makes me want one right now! Pro-tip: Add a slice of cheese and add some bacon! If you order their Mac and cheese, you can't go wrong either! Pro-tip: Add their corn beef on top of that Mac and cheese baby. (It's only a mild-mannered dive bar until your first bite) ”
